A summary of the weekend (by Doug)
A magnificent 6, with one walking wounded and 5 bejazzlers.
Solid golf won with a fitting 4,4 finish by Tim 'long dong' slates who was too fast, too steady and too unbruised to be caught.
Bel Air was miles better than expectations with Ax clocking over 1.6km of dance floor distance - stamina.
AndyW was back in black, though unfortunately chose to wear some pumps he'd nicked from a 14 year old kid so couldn't get in to the least fussy club in the land.
Ravi popped up in a short sleeve t-shirt to win 2nd place whilst Ax clocked up over 1.6km from front to back to front to back of the 18th green - marginal failure.
A tough pill to swallow.
Not as tough as the two new sursum drinks: the white rabbit (andyW and I having a couple of cheeky pints of this bad boy), and ravi "old man" rao with his vin rouge. Next year smoking jackets and gout.
AndyW boomed one out for (another!) longest drive.
And Ravi slid it in stiff to 6' to pick up the nearest the pin. Just after smoking a fag.
What are the other memories?
The 2011 Winner - Tim Slater
The Longest Drive - Andy Whitsed
Nearest to the Pin - Ravi Rao
